Finer tooth dovetail saw

I currently own a progressive tooth dovetail saw from Lie-Nielsen and have been very happy with the saw so far.

It is very easy to start the cut with the finer tooth at the beginning of the saw and the rougher tooth towards the end of the saw gets the cut done pretty quickly.

But having bigger tooth can get a little bit too rough sometimes, depending on what type of construction you are cutting your joint into.

I have recently been cutting  dovetail that needed a little bit more refinement regarding the saw cut and been wishing to have a saw that had finer tooth.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to ditch the progressive pitch saw, but would gladly welcome to have the choice of a finer tooth saw to cut dovetail, depending of the job at hand.

For  dovetail that needs to be cut for a carcase, I don't really mind to have the rougher cut and will probably go with the progressive tooth geometry.  But for smaller/finer work, I would appreciate to have a finer tooth configuration in the dovetail saw.

I am already on the looks for a new addition to the saws I already own to fill this need.  I am still not officially decided on the brand yet, but it will come soon.
