Epoxy cutting boards
Sometimes, some piece of wood have defects that many of them could be just thrown in the burn pile. But sometimes, we can use these pieces to do interesting work and incorporate them into specific projects. This is what I did with Epoxy cutting boards.
I had some boards that had knots or pretty big "defects" and I decided to put them aside. Some of the knots were through and through, so a hole across the thickness of the boards.
One piece was a narrow piece of walnut, which one end had some exterior bark. After cleaning it, it still had a pretty rough surface but nothing that could be filled in.
